Tips From our Coaches

Hello, 

 

For school this year we had to do a project based on our interests. After coaching this fall I was inspired to use field hockey for my project. The overall concept of the project was to find a way to teach field hockey from home during these unprecedented times or just in the offseason. I created short videos based on a couple of basic things that I coached this fall. The videos included topics like dribbling, passing, some offense, and a little defense. They are all compiled on a google site that I have recently published. The reason I am sending this email is that I think that it could potentially be a useful resource to future field hockey players. My idea was that it could be added to the Herndon Reston Youth Field Hockey page under the resource tab so that it could be accessed by players in the future. I'm not sure if you are the person to reach out to make this happen but I thought I would let you know.
